Quick Update.

Hey Everyone! This is your dedicated blog updater erin. The mongol missioanry did not write a whole week in review this week, but he did send an email, so here are a few quick hightlights from him..... (i apologize to my mom for not having a chance to spell check/edit this email from scott- i was crazy busy at work :))

"today we got to go to the Portland temple. it is so pretty and we took a ton of pictures. all the flowers are blooming and it is just so beautiful there. i love going to the temple because you don't have to worry about anything and you can just be at peace for those few hours you are there. the work is moving along really really well. we had invitation Sunday go on this last week. we had so many people there. we have already got like 5 new investigators this transfer. it has only been two weeks so i am excited for what the rest of the transfer will bring. we have 3 or 4 people that we are getting ready to put on date. we were going to do it last week but scheduling didn't work out and we had a few cancel appointments. we are starting this new program called collect the elect. it is to get the members motivated and really just jump start the work in the mission. the Eugene Oregon mission did and had 100 baptisms in one week. we will see what we can do. it is going to be a lot of hard work but to achieve things that have never been done before, we must do things that have never been done before. that is the quote i am living by this transfer. i am really starting to branch out and talk to more and more people. yesterday we actually got a return appointment with this guy because i started talking to him about his jazz t shirt. it is fun to have those experiences. other than that we are just keeping the work going. i haven't heard anything good about the visas so far so i just keep hoping and praying. on fast Sunday this month i fasted for the visas and just the people of Mongolia. i am to a point were i want to share the gospel with them but i really want to go over there so i can just help them out. they are going to need so much help in these coming months and i would love to do that. i know i am in Vancouver for a reason and i may never know what that reason is but i give it my all everyday. the weather has been so great this past few weeks. the sun has been shining and every ones moods just seem to improve. there are flowers blooming everywhere and all i can think of when i see that is our home gardens and when those first tulips bloom."
